Are you developing a product, a technology building block, or an R&D roadmap, and wondering what academique research can really bring to the table? AKTANTIS invites you to the new edition of Tech Lab Day, themed “Understand, identify, connect: The Best of Occitanies’s AI research serving you R&D”

The concept stays the same: bringing together those doing AI research in the region with those who need to integrate it into their products (industrial startups, R&D and innovation directors, researchers).

HIGHLIGHTS

An accessible breakdown of the region’s major AI expertise areasn illustrated with concrete use case;
Flash pitches from select group of labs (LIRMM, TETIS, INRIA, IRCM, IMAG….);
Panel discussion “From thesis to product”, sharinf real succes stories in technology transfer;
Sector specific meetings that go beyond standard networking;
A networking lunch to encourage further discussion.

11h00 – Panel discussion: “From thesis to product: what does it really take for a successful technology transfer?”
11h40 – Flash pitches, “Labs x Industrial Need”: five labs from AKTANTIS’s mapping each present a concrete industrial use case from their work in 3 minutes:
- LIRMM P1 : fundamental algorithms, deep learning, knowledge graphs, computer vision
- LIRMM P2 : “intelligent, secure, and eco-responsible systems”
- TETIS (GEOTEXIA / IAT) : Satellite data and geospatial IoT processing, multi-source data fusion… for monitoring and precision agriculture industries…
- INRIA (Evergreen) : Machine Learning and computer vision applied to satellite and aerial imagery
- IRCM : multimodal medical imaging (MRI/CT), radiomics, for healthcare
- IMAG (EPS/MACS) : statistical and Bayesian learning applied to concrete industrial cases (biology, health, environment)
