Electronics &#8211; A challenge for the future&#8221; and the &#8220;Launch of the I-novMicro innovation programme&#8221;.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\">These two days brought together a large number of public and private partners:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>On <strong>16 March<\/strong>, at the Ecole des Mines de Saint-Etienne in Gardanne, bringing together experts from industry, academia and training on the<strong> theme of &#8220;IoT &amp; The floor was then given to the various speakers who presented the l<strong>atest methods and technologies for managing and storing energy in connected objects<\/strong> (Power Management, Energy Harvesting in Microelectronic Circuits &amp; IoT).<\/p>\n<p>It was also an opportunity to r<strong>ecall the challenges of industrial and technological sovereignty, ecological transition and the opportunities for the industry and its players in the region<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 1rem;\">Then, 4 teams of engineering students (ISEN Yncr\u00e9a M\u00e9diterran\u00e9e Toulon, Polytech Marseille, et Arts et M\u00e9tiers ParisTech \u2013 \u00c9cole Nationale Sup\u00e9rieure d\u2019Arts et M\u00e9tiers Aix-en-Provence), who participated in the I-NOVgames Hackaton, launched in September 2022 with the support of STMicroelectronics, had the opportunity to present their projects on \u00ab IoT for tomorrow\u2019s smart energy \u00bb and receive advice from key players and companies in the regional electronics and microelectronics sector.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 1rem;\"><br \/>\nFinally, directors of training programmes in microelectronics and electronics presented their latest initiatives to the industrial players present, with the aim of promoting recruitment and meeting the skills needs and requirements of the sector, including the training courses developed as part of the European ECoVEM project, a partner of the event.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft wp-image-91163533 size-medium\" src=\"https:\/\/www.aktantis.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/03\/MICRO-INNOVATION-DAY-conference-300x225.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.aktantis.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/03\/MICRO-INNOVATION-DAY-conference-300x225.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.aktantis.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/03\/MICRO-INNOVATION-DAY-conference-160x120.jpg 160w, https:\/\/www.aktantis.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/03\/MICRO-INNOVATION-DAY-conference-119x89.jpg 119w, https:\/\/www.aktantis.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/03\/MICRO-INNOVATION-DAY-conference.jpg 576w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\"><span style=\"font-size: 1rem;\">The following day, the official launch of I-novMicro was held at STMicrolectronics in Rousset.
